Warranty

We have done our homework, tested our products, and we are confident that our products are of exceptional quality and exceed the industry standard.  In our usual “cheeky” style, we have opted to do things a little differently than the norm:  we have chosen an honest and simple policy that is straightforward and easy to understand.   

What do we cover for PATIO UMBRELLAS and BASES?

What we offer here at Cheeky Umbrella is a LIFETIME MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY on all our PATIO umbrella FRAMES and BASES that covers defects in materials and workmanship for the lifespan of the product.  This means that if your umbrella frame or base breaks due to a manufacturer and/or latent defect, we will repair, replace, or offer a credit for the broken umbrella frame or base at no charge.  This excludes regular wear and tear, as well as misuse of the product (E.g. Leaving items out in unsuitable and/or severe weather; dropping the product; dragging bases that are meant to be lifted upon relocation).  For damages that do not fall under manufacturer and/or latent defects, we have replacement parts, frames or fabric that are easily available for purchase.  

For umbrella FABRICS, the warranty covers colour-fastness (fading) for the length of time noted on each of the product pages, as well as any sewing/stitching when any defects are noticed and reported promptly upon receipt of goods.  For any sewing and/or stitching concerns due to regular wear and tear over time, we suggest getting in touch with us for a quick evaluation to see if the issue can be easily repaired with a needle and thread by your local seamstress, or if it is indeed time for the purchase of new replacement covers.

What do we cover for RAIN UMBRELLAS?

What we offer here at Cheeky Umbrella is a LIFETIME MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY on all our RAIN umbrella FRAMES that covers defects in materials and workmanship for the lifespan of the product.  This means that if your umbrella frame breaks due to a manufacturer and/or latent defect, we will repair, replace, or offer a credit for the broken umbrella at no charge.  This excludes regular wear and tear, as well as misuse of the product.  

Umbrella FABRICS and SEWING is covered when any defects are noticed and reported promptly upon receipt of goods.  For any sewing and/or stitching concerns due to regular wear and tear over time, we suggest getting in touch with us for a quick evaluation to see if the issue can be easily repaired with a needle and thread by your local seamstress (such as a lost tip which we can send you to sew on), or if it is indeed time for the purchase of a replacement.
