Custom Umbrellas FAQ’s
What format do you need my logo in for my custom umbrellas?
For your custom umbrellas, we need your logo in vectors/outlines in an AI, EPS or SVG file. A vector graphic will ensure a high quality result since all the elements of the logo are outlined perfectly for screenprinting and it can be resized to any size without losing resolution. Your graphic designer who created the logo should have it in this format, but if they don’t, our designer can typically re-draw it for about $50.
How long does production take for my custom umbrellas?
If we are adding your logo to our in-stock products, the lead time will be 2 weeks from the date of artwork approval, plus shipping time from us to you.
If you are purchasing one of our Digital Print umbrellas or Customized umbrellas, the lead time will be 10-12 weeks.
Can I see a sample before I purchase custom umbrellas from you?
Yes, we can send a sample for your review so that you can see our high quality in person.
If I decide to move forward with an order of custom umbrellas, what is your process and payment terms?
Our process is we require a 50% deposit up front, with the balance due upon receipt of the umbrellas. Once we receive the deposit, we’ll provide a digital proof of the umbrella for your approval before we produce them.
Can I get a mockup of the umbrella with my logo before I commit to the order?
Yes! Please ask us for digital proof of the umbrella with your custom logo so you can get an idea before you commit.

What makes your umbrellas high quality compared to others?
Ribs: The most vulnerable part of an umbrella for breakage is the ribs. We use strong, flexible fiberglass for most of our umbrellas ribs to enhance durability and wind-resistance.
Shaft: We use strong powder-coated steel for the shafts, that is not as soft or bendable as other metals.
Fabric: We use pongee fabrics, which are much more water-resistant than nylon.
Handles and Hardware: We use handles, caps and tips that are strong and durable, and not as vulnerable to cracking, breaking or detaching.
Printing: We use the screenprinting method to apply your logo to the umbrella, which will not crack or peel off. And we use a flashing underneath the logo to ensure the colours turn out accurate and bright.
